DWORA AWARD PRESENTED TO IOTA PHI LAMBDA SORORITY, INC. (BETA OMICRON CHAPTER)

HR MOM LLC is proud to announce that the Dynamite Woman of Resilience Award (DWORA) has been formally presented to Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Incorporated, Beta Omicron Chapter. Beginning November 14, 2025, and annually thereafter, HR MOM LLC will transfer $1,000 in DWORA award funds directly to the chapter, with additional contributions raised through community fundraising.

This new partnership reflects a shift from awarding DWORA to a single woman each year to empowering the sorority’s broader programs that serve women and children. By channeling the funds into Beta Omicron’s initiatives, DWORA’s legacy will extend its reach, fostering resilience, leadership, and support for more families in need.

Since its founding, DWORA has honored women who embody extraordinary strength in the face of adversity. Past honorees include Latoya Bell (2023), recognized for her courage as a kinship caregiver and breast cancer survivor; Dyneisha Harvey, celebrated for breaking barriers as a single mother; Kim Lozada (2021), honored for her perseverance and service; and Dr. Corinne Green (2024), recognized for her leadership and resilience while battling chronic illness. Each honoree reflects the award’s mission of celebrating women who triumph with faith, perseverance, and purpose.
