COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA LAUNCHES FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT; DR. CORINNE GREEN SELECTED AS CURRICULUM ARCHITECT
The Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) proudly announces the launch of its first-of-its-kind Associate Degree in Human Resources Management (AHRM), created to prepare students for entry-level HR roles while providing pathways for long-term career growth. This groundbreaking program marks a major milestone in expanding workforce opportunities and addressing a critical need for HR professionals across the region.
To lead this initiative, CCP has tapped Dr. Corinne Green, DSL, human resources executive, professor, and CEO of HR MOM LLC as the sole curriculum architect and faculty lead. Dr. Green brings extensive experience in business communication, leadership education, and organizational consulting, making her uniquely positioned to design a program that blends academic rigor with practical skill development.
The Associate Degree in Human Resources Management will equip students with a strong foundation in HR theory while preparing them to manage daily functions such as compliance, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. Graduates will be positioned to secure entry-level HR roles or transfer seamlessly to four-year institutions to continue their studies. Enrollment for the program will officially begin in 2027.
